Hi! My name is Carlos. Bringing characters and environments to life, through 3D, is what inspires and motivates me. I'm passionate about learning and believe that there's something to learn from everyone. I love music, anime and heart-warming movies!
For the past 3 years I've worked in Kool Games - a mobile game company from Portugal. I was responsible for creating 3D assets - props, characters, environments, textures, animations and rigs in Blender, as well as importing and implementing them in Unity. When comes to Unity, I have experience working with prefabs and nested prefab logic, animator and animation tools, the Unity humanoid avatar system and rigs, cinemachine, Unity's UI, particle system and shader graph to generate both VFXs and custom materials. This deep knowledge of Unity allowed me to work as a bridge between the art department and the development department. In my own time I've been working on creating more complex rigs and diving into python to create small tools and automate some of the rigging process in Maya and Blender.
